2019 EDUCATION FOR ALL – GOAL ACHIEVED

Educate Children Today, Open Up Their World Forever

Dear Friends,

I am excited to announce WE EXCEEDED OUR GOAL of raising $60,000 for our Education for All 2019 scholarship campaign! We cannot thank everyone enough for their generous contributions, as well as sharing kind words on social media. The donations will make a tremendous impact in the lives of our 60 new scholarship recipients.

This year, we will provide 60 scholarships — our highest number to date — to motivated, low-income high school students in India, Vietnam, Guatemala, Costa Rica, and Ghana. Without scholarship support, these aspiring first-generation high school students will be unable to continue their studies and may never graduate high school.

Your support provides students with:

  • Tuition to a local high school in their area
  • Books and school supplies
  • Transportation to and from school every day
  • Computer skills and vocational training to help them secure a professional job post-graduation
  • Support from DV’s expert staff who oversee each student’s progress and career exploration

Not sure how much to give? Here are some ideas…

  • $55 covers necessary school supplies & materials
  • $100 pays for a school uniform and textbooks
  • $250 covers transportation to and from school for a year
  • $400 pays for one year of tuition or a school laptop
  • $1000 is the cost of a full academic scholarship (tuition, books and supplies, and transportation)
  • A monthly donation can help keep a student in school

A donation in any amount is appreciated and we accept donations throughout the year (learn how to donate).  Over the past 8 years, we have made high school possible for more than 450 students. With proud to say that due to the kindness of all of the Dream Volunteers supporters, we will be supporting 60 more by the end of the year!

Thank you,

Brian Buntz
