Community Service Partnerships
Dream Volunteers partners with community-based organizations by providing prepared, motivated student volunteers for impactful projects that further the missions of the nonprofit partners. We work with our student groups before and during the service work to connect what they’re doing to the bigger picture of the needs being met in the community. We don’t just ensure the students bring what they need and show up on time, we go further. We lead pre-service discussions on empathy, root cause and why the students’ work is critical to addressing the particular challenges. Once the service work is complete for the day, we facilitate and journaling and reflection session to ensure that the students process and capture their new learnings and perspectives and share those with each other.
