Young Dreamer Spotlight
The Young Dreamer Network has allowed me to do things that I never thought I would have the opportunity to do. When I first joined Young Dreamers, I was pretty shy and I hated doing any kind of public speaking. Being a Young Dreamer has pushed me and given me the tools I need so that I was eventually comfortable giving a speech in front of hundreds of people including the mayor of our city. I've also had the opportunity to travel to some of the most beautiful places in the world. Last summer I traveled to India with Young Dreamers and we got to do some amazing things like ride elephants and explore ancient castles. It's also so much fun to get to know other teenagers from around the world. I had two Young Dreamers from Guatemala come and stay in my house for a week while they visited. When I joined this club I never would have thought that I would eventually have friends living all over the world. I am so grateful for the experiences that Young Dreamers has enabled me to have.
